All CSA candidates must pass a certification exam and national criminal background check. They agree to uphold the highest ethical standards for the benefit and protection of older adults. Also, every three years CSA’s must fulfill continuing education requirements, verify their compliance with laws and regulations, and reaffirm their pledge to follow the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility .
